(a) Pork Infused with Orange Juice

Cooking Time: 8 hours on low

Ingredients:
- 1 orange cut in half
- 2 tsp. oregano
- 1 sweet onion, chopped
- ½ tsp. chili powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 lbs. boneless pork shoulder
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- ¼ tsp. red pepper flakes
- ½ tsp. paprika
- 1 Jalapeno chilies
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
Methods:
- Mix the spices and oil in small mixing bowl. Marinate the pork for 30 minutes.
- Squeeze the orange juice over the pork meat.
- Now add the remaining ingredients to your slow cooker. Close the cooker lid.
- Set to cook on low heat for 8 hours.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
(b) Pulled Pork Mexican Style
This pork recipe is a real winner at the dinner table!

Cooking Time: 6 hours on high

Ingredients:
- 3 ½ lbs. boneless pork shoulder, shredded
- ¼ tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. cayenne
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- A pinch of ground cloves
- 1 tbsp. brown sugar
- 4 tbsp. chili powder
Methods:
- Take a large pan, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Brown the pork in the oil.
- Add pork shreds and all the ingredients to your slow cooker and stir. Close the lid.
- Set to cook over high heat for 6 hours.
- Serve hot and enjoy! Optional to add some tomato cut into slices and a bit lemon juice.
(c) Slow Cooked Beef with Eggplant
This beef recipe is a great slow cooker version of a Greek stew that is scrumptious!

Cooking Time: 8 hours on low

Ingredients:
- 2 lbs. lean cut stewing beef, cut into ½-inch chunks
- 8 pieces Japanese eggplants, long thin and purply and striated white ones
- ¾ tsp. sugar
- 1 tbsp. red wine vinegar
- ½ tsp. cinnamon
- ¼ cup olive oil
- ¼ cup parsley, minced
- 1/8 tsp. allspice
- 1/8 tsp. ground cloves
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 medium onions, sliced thin
- 1 cup beef stock
- ½ cup feta cheese, cubed for garnish
- 1 can tomato sauce
Methods:
- Cut the tails and tops of eggplants; cut into 1-inch thick segments.
- Prepare a pan, add olive oil and heat over medium-heat. Add the beef, eggplant, garlic, and onion and cook for about 5 minutes or until food is dark brown color; drain and put into slow cooker.
- In a mixing bowl, mix tomato sauce, beef stock, sugar, vinegar, spices and season with salt and pepper to taste. Pour the mix to the slow cooker and stir to combine. Close the lid to the cooker.
- Set to low heat and cook for 8 hours.
- Suggest serving hot, with pasta. Pour the food over the cooked pasta. Sprinkle the top with parsley and feta cheese for garnish.
(d) Teriyaki Chicken in Lettuce Wrap
This chicken recipe is extremely healthy and very delicious!

Cooking Time: 8 hours on low

Ingredients:
- 2 chicken breasts, boneless, skinless
- ¼ cup water
- ½ tsp. ground ginger
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- ¼ cup red wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp. arrowroot powder
- ½ cup coconut
- ½ cup honey
- 1 onion, chopped
- Lettuce leaves
Methods:
- Prepare a mixing bowl and mix all of your ingredients, except the arrowroot powder and lettuce leaves. Add mixture to your slow cooker.
- Cook on low heat for 8 hours with the lid closed.
- Once cooked removing chicken from the slow cooker.
- Mix arrowroot powder with some water in a small bowl, and add the mixture to slow cooker.
- Cook for additional 30 minutes on high.
- Add the chicken to the sauce and mix. Serve on top of lettuce leaves.
(e) Pork Chops in Chicken Broth
This pork recipe offers a yummy combination of pork and chicken broth that is nutritious and healthy!

Cooking Time: 2 hours on high

Ingredients:
- 1 onion, chopped
- ¾ tsp. poultry seasoning
- 4 Center cut pork chops
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 ½ cups chicken broth
- ½ cup flour
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
Methods:
- Rub well the flour on pork.
- Prepare a pan and add olive oil, heat over medium-high heat. Brown the pork chops in the pan on all sides.
- Drained and add to slow cooker. Add ½ cup of chicken broth slightly cover the pork.
- Place all of the ingredients into your slow cooker and stir to mix. Close the lid to the cooker.
- Cook on high setting for 2 hours.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
