Asian Style Fried Chicken

One of my favorites fired chicken is Malay style fried chicken which is full of herbs and spices. It is so aromatic that will tease your senses and make your mouth water.





1 whole Chicken (cut into  sizable pieces )

Spice (A)  :

  • 5 sticks Lemongrass
  • 6 Shallots
  • 3 Cloves Garlic
  • 20g Ginger
  • 10g Turmeric
  • 2 tbsp Water


Spice (B):

  • 2 tsp Cumin Powder
  • 2 tsp Fennel Powder
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 2 tbsp Meat Curry Powder
  • 2 tsp Salt


  • Prepare spices (A) and put all into grinder until mixed well.
  • Pour the mixture into a bowl
  • Add the spices (A) and (B) to the chicken pieces and mix well.

  • Marinate overnight.
  • Heat the oil and fry the chicken pieces until golden brown.

  • Drain the oil and enjoy.
